The nose and the mouth are the front door to our body – this is where all kinds of germs, bacteria and viruses* enter our body.

How does Bloxivir work?

Bloxivir is a medical device intended for daily protection against viral* infections, as well as the fight against active viruses*. It may be used several times a day, both as a prevention and in therapy, in adults and in children over one year of age.

This is due to the content of three substances:

Iota-carrageenan
Ectoine
Hyaluronic acid

Bloxivir forms a protective layer on the mucous membrane, which supports the natural barrier properties of the nasal mucosa and provides a mechanical barrier against the penetration and multiplication of pathogens into the body.

The protective effect starts immediately after application.

When to use Bloxivir?

Protection against viruses that cause upper respiratory tract infections

It blocks viral entry into cells, thereby protecting against highly contagious viral infections of the upper respiratory tract (influenza and the common cold, caused by the influenza virus and coronaviruses, as well as against COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2).
It blocks the multiplication of viruses and thus prevents the occurrence of the disease symptoms.
It protects against the spread of the virus (by reducing transmission from symptomatic or asymptomatic infected persons to others).
It protects against dryness and against irritation of the nasal and oral mucosa by environmental factors that may make it easier for viruses to enter cells and multiply.
